Lowering The Buy In For The WSOP

LAS VEGAS–A possibly reliable source (a WSOP assistant tourney director) tells me that there are plans to lower the buy-ins to World Series of Poker Circuit main events to $5,000. The idea behind it is supposedly to draw more people while still maintianing a super-sizable prize pool; and to keep the $10k WSOP main event semi-unique and prestigious.

I and alot of other people would probably love to see this. It would be great in the aspect that you will see alot of new faces. This would make the WSOP an even larger tournament though. It could easily take a day or two longer than it currently is. All in all though I think this would be a great thing to do for the good of every holdem poker player expecially those who play online.
